Read MoreEIMS was incorporated in 1993 and born out of the need for specialised environmental services to support and manage the environmental risks associated with Phase 1 of the Lesotho Highlands Development Project, including Katse Dam and the associated infrastructure. On the basis of this project and driven by the growing awareness of environmental issues and risks, coupled with EIMS’s reputation for delivering quality and reliable advice, the company grew and diversified to the multi-disciplinary team we are comprised of today. We are a South African company, proud to have expanded into virtually every aspect of the environmental management consulting sector’s spectrum of services, to the point where we currently have a portfolio of diverse experience which competes with international leaders in our field.
Vision EIMS is a modern African company dedicated to providing environmental consulting services that are regarded by our peers and clients as the benchmark in terms of quality, efficiency and value.
We are driven to achieve our goals by:-
The rendering of services which exceed the expectations of our clients.
Embracing innovative technologies and approaches to our work.
Eagerly exploring international trends and best practice.
Maintaining a thorough understanding of statutory and regulatory requirements to ensure that our client’s risk profiles are effectively managed.
Committing to continual improvement and consistently delivering the highest quality of work.
EIMS has maintained a Level 2 BBBEE rating for the last 3 years. Our latest BBBEE certificate/affidavit is available upon request.
The company is 60% owned by Teboho Nkhahle, a black previously disadvantaged individual. Teboho is also the Managing Director of EIMS and an environmental scientist with over 20 years’ experience. EIMS aims to define what a successful modern African firm should be in the 21st century by ensuring we are representative of our population and diverse cultures, and by setting goals to empower emerging companies in our industry.
